Growth Hormone Axis Peptides
Two classes at two receptors: GHRH analogues at the GHRH receptor, secretagogues at the ghrelin receptor.
About Growth Hormone Axis Peptides
What is on this shelf?
| Compound | Class | Receptor | Sizes here |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ipamorelin | Secretagogue | Ghrelin (GHSR-1a) | 5mg, 10mg vial · 10mg pen |
| CJC-1295 DAC | GHRH analogue | GHRH | 2mg vial |
| Tesamorelin | GHRH analogue | GHRH | 10mg vial |
| CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin | Both | Both | 5/5mg, 10/10mg vial · 5/5mg pen |
What does DAC mean?
Drug affinity complex is what the three letters stand for. It is an addition that grips albumin, which is how it keeps the molecule in circulation far longer; the peptide sequence underneath is untouched. Strip the DAC off and the result goes by mod GRF (1-29), which is the CJC half of our blend.
What research has been published?
Each of the three has its own. Healthy adults took CJC-1295 DAC through a randomised, placebo-controlled, double-blind trial (PMID 16352683). Ipamorelin's selectivity was first characterised in animals and in vitro (PMID 9849822). For tesamorelin, five randomised controlled trials in HIV-associated lipodystrophy were pooled into a meta-analysis (PMID 41545261).
Growth Hormone Axis questions
What is the difference between a GHRH analogue and a secretagogue?
Which receptor they hit. The GHRH receptor takes tesamorelin and CJC-1295; ipamorelin works on GHSR-1a, the ghrelin receptor.
What is mod GRF (1-29)?
It is CJC-1295 without the DAC, under a different name, and it is the CJC half of our CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin blend.
