VIP is on the shelf at diluent.co.uk, held in British stock rather than ordered in, priced from £26.99 for the 10mg vial. It is supplied as vial. A weekday order placed before 2pm goes out the same day, tracked, boxed with nothing on the outside about the contents.
Shipping from inside the country is what removes the customs step: no clearance, no import charge, nothing sitting at a border. Purity is ≥99% by HPLC on every batch, and the certificate for the lot you are sent is yours on request against the number on the label.
Delivery runs £4.95, free above £75, tracked start to finish. See how ordering works.

| Purity | ≥99% by HPLC |
| Vial strength | 10mg |
| Vial state | Lyophilised powder |

What has VIP been studied for?
The record behind VIP is pre-clinical throughout. Not one of the papers listed below is a human trial. Below is what each paper set out to examine, sorted by the model it ran in:
Reviews of the literature
- Vasoactive intestinal peptide, Review (PMID 2872248)
- Therapeutic potential of vasoactive intestinal peptide and its receptor VPAC2 in type 2 diabetes, Review (PMID 36204104)
- Recent advances in vasoactive intestinal peptide physiology and pathophysiology: focus on the gastrointestinal system, Review (PMID 31559013)
Each line describes what a paper looked at. None of it reports an effect in a person, and no part of this site tells anyone how to use anything.
Where and how to buy VIP in the UK
How do you order?
Pick a strength from the table, put it in the basket and check out. There is no account to set up. The confirmation reaches you straight away and the payment details follow by email, because no card is taken on the site.
Why does UK stock matter?
The VIP you order leaves a warehouse in Britain. That means no customs step, no import charge and no days lost in transit from abroad. Before 2pm on a working day and it is collected that afternoon, tracked, in an outer box that gives nothing away.
What arrives in the box?
| Purity | ≥99%, by HPLC |
|---|---|
| Labelling | Compound, strength, format, purity, research-use statement and a batch number |
| Certificate of analysis | On request, matched to your batch number |
| Delivery | Tracked, UK only. £4.95, free over £75 |
| Returns | 14 days on unopened, sealed items, terms |
Reconstituting VIP
The vial arrives as a freeze-dried cake. It becomes a solution once bacteriostatic water goes in, and how much you add is what decides the strength of that solution. The quantity in the vial never changes, only the volume it is spread through.
What you see here are concentrations and volumes. Nothing on this site is dosage, protocol or administration guidance, and no number above is one either.
Loaded with 10mg and 2ml to start. Move either control and the numbers move with it. The full reconstitution calculator goes further, into syringe units, which water to pick and how long a mixed vial lasts.
| Vial | + 1ml | + 2ml | + 3ml | + 5ml |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10mg | 10 mg/ml | 5 mg/ml | 3.33 mg/ml | 2 mg/ml |
Take the 10mg vial: 2ml of bacteriostatic water puts it at 5 mg/ml. The sum is the milligrams on the label over the millilitres you put in. Every figure here is a concentration. None of them is a dose, and this site carries no dosage, protocol or administration guidance at all.
How should it be handled?
- Let a refrigerated vial reach room temperature first.
- Wipe the stopper with an alcohol swab every time you go in.
- Aim the water at the glass wall so it runs down, not straight onto the cake.
- Roll it gently between your fingers. Shaking makes foam, and foam is damaged protein.
- Give it a few minutes to go into solution. Done properly it finishes clear.
Storing VIP
| Sealed vial | Somewhere cool, dry and dark. For anything long term, the freezer. |
|---|---|
| Once reconstituted | Fridge, standing upright, away from light. Never freeze it once mixed. |
How long does it keep?
| Stored as | Keeps for |
|---|---|
| Sealed, frozen at −20 °C | Years. Nothing holds a lyophilised peptide better than this |
| Sealed, refrigerated at 2–8 °C | Months |
| Sealed, at room temperature | Weeks. Fine while it is in the post, not a place to keep it |
| Reconstituted, refrigerated | Think weeks, not months. Four weeks is the number most people work to once bacteriostatic water is in, which is exactly what its preservative is there for |
| Reconstituted, frozen | Best avoided. Ice crystals tear at peptides, and every freeze–thaw round makes it worse |
Treat these as the usual numbers for lyophilised peptides, not a stability result measured on one batch. Cold and dry buys time; moisture, heat, light and being shaken about take it away. Ask and we will send the batch certificate of analysis.
Is VIP legal in the UK?
We sell VIP as an unlicensed research compound, for laboratory research use only. There is no UK marketing authorisation behind it, it is not a licensed medicine, and it is not for human use, veterinary use or food.
Nothing of this kind is a controlled drug, and selling it as laboratory material is lawful. Selling or marketing it for people to take is not. That line is the reason you will not find a dose, a protocol, a route, a frequency or a medical claim anywhere on this site, and the reason asking for one by email gets the same answer.
A few molecules in this range also appear inside a licensed medicine sold under a brand name. That authorisation belongs to the finished product it was granted for; it does not follow the molecule anywhere else. Full terms.
VIP questions
What does VIP stand for?
It is short for vasoactive intestinal peptide.
How long is the peptide?
Twenty-eight residues.
Where can I buy VIP in the UK?
VIP is available in the UK from diluent.co.uk, from £26.99, a single 10mg size, as vials. The stock sits in Britain, so nothing waits on clearance, nothing attracts an import charge and nothing gets stopped on the way in. That lands at £2.70 the milligram. It turns up as freeze-dried powder, so the concentration is yours to set when you mix it. Get the order in before 2pm on a weekday and it leaves that day, tracked, plainly packaged. Batches go to a third-party lab and come back at ≥99% by HPLC, and the certificate for yours is there if you ask, see how to order.
How much does VIP cost?
It starts at £26.99 for the 10mg, £2.70 per mg. Postage runs £4.95, and nothing at all above £75.
How much bacteriostatic water do I add to VIP?
There is no single right answer, because the volume you choose is what fixes the strength. Take the 10mg vial: 1ml puts it at 10 mg/ml, 2ml at 5 mg/ml, 3ml at 3.33 mg/ml. The 10mg in the vial stays 10mg regardless. These are concentrations. They are not doses.
How should VIP be stored?
Still sealed and dry it will sit for years at −20 °C, months in a fridge at 2–8 °C, weeks at room temperature. Cold and dry is what buys the time. After mixing it goes in the fridge standing up, and four weeks is the figure most work to with bacteriostatic water. Never freeze it once mixed: ice crystals tear peptides apart and each freeze–thaw round does it again.
What purity is your VIP, and can I see a certificate?
≥99%, measured by HPLC. Quote the batch number on your label and we will send the certificate of analysis for that lot. If you would rather see where current stock sits before you commit, ask and we will tell you.
